The Facts

Here's a short sheet of "the facts" for those of you who prefer bullet points.


Where:

• Levice, Slovakia

When:

• Moving in November 2014 for a commitment of two years

Support Need:

• $34,000.00 in outgoing, covering airfare, visas, moving cost, car purchase, etc.
• $3,700.00 in monthly support half for personal expenses (rent, groceries, etc.) and half for minsitry expenses (language, conferences, insurance, etc.)

Ministry Responsibilities:

• First year: focus on language and culture learning (weekly Slovak lessons) with goals of being able to buy groceries, communicate with my landlord, purchase train tickets, etc. without a translator
• Teach one hour of conversational English in a Slovak classroom each week
• Disciple at least one student in English in the first year
• Work with the local church doing bible studies, summer camps, camp follow ups, retreats, outreaches, etc.
• Work with Josiah Venture to host sumemr KECY ministry (summer English camps) including working with intern team and short term American teams
• Paricipate in JV's ongoing leadership conferences and other national ministries (KPM, TVT, Exit Tour, Fusion, and SPM)
